Support programs
Supporting students to participate fully in school life
State Schools Relief provides practical support to Victorian government school students experiencing financial hardship. We work directly with schools to ensure students receive essential items quickly, discreetly and fairly.
Our support helps remove barriers to participation – so students can attend school with confidence, dignity and a sense of belonging.

How support works
Our process is simple and school-led.
Step 2
School submits application
The school submits an application on behalf of the student via our online application portal or voucher application form.
Step 3
Application assessed
Applications are assessed promptly and confidentially. All applications are treated with sensitivity and confidentiality.
Step 4
Items despatched
Approved items are usually despatched to the school within 3 business days. A confirmation email is sent to the school.

Students and families
If you are a parent or carer seeking support, please contact your child’s school directly.
The school principal, assistant principal, or wellbeing coordinator can discuss your situation confidentially and manage the online application to State Schools Relief on your behalf.
All applications for support must be submitted by the school on behalf of the student. State Schools Relief does not provide cash assistance.
